Following the success of last year's workshop, we are once again bringing together local government staff, animal welfare organisations, rescue groups and other professionals with an interest in evidence-based cat management.
The workshop will once again feature presentations from leading experts in cat management and welfare, practical discussions, and opportunities to share knowledge and experiences with colleagues from across Australia and abroad. One of the highlights of the workshop will again be the opportunity to learn about cat transect monitoring and participate in field transects, a method for monitoring and quantifying free-roaming cat populations. Whether you are new to transects or looking to build on last year's experience, this practical component will provide valuable skills that can be applied in your own community.
