In light of 2025 being a revision year for Victorian DAMPs, we are revisiting the AIAM Animal Management Plan (AMP) template and guidance document to help you make the most of the opportunity to use these potentially powerful documents to build the internal and external support your animal management team needs to function at their best. The template provides clear instructions on how to complete each section, with clear examples, and suggestions for relevant resources to guide your proposed actions. The associated guidance material explains how to create an effective, useful AMP and where to find the information you need to best tailor the resource to the needs of your department, council, and community. Presenter: Dr Diana Rayment Dr Diana Rayment has been on the AIAM board since 2019. Diana’s PhD research investigated applied assessment of canine behaviour, and she has over 20 years' experience working with companion animals, in research, teaching and in the sector. Diana now works in program development at PetRescue and runs her own training and consulting service for animal welfare organisations and animal management teams, while keeping her connections with the world of applied research in companion animal management, behaviour, and welfare whenever she can. Registration for this event is available to AIAM Members only. If you would like to submit an application for membership visit the Join Us tab on the website. This event will be recorded and the recording will be available the day after the event.
