What is Human Animal Support Services? How is it changing the face of animal management in the USA? What can HASS do for your organisation and community? How does One Health relate to Local Government and its work in animal management?

All this and more will be answered in this webinar presented by Kristen Hassen-Auerbach, the newly anointed Director overseeing the HASS program.

Webinar presenter:

Kristen Hassen-Auerbach (Director - Human Animal Support Services)

Kristen Hassen is a past National Animal Care and Control Association Board Member and the recent Director of Animal Services of Pima Animal Care Center, the municipal shelter in Pima County, Tucson, Arizona. PACC takes in 18,000 pets annually and serves Pima County which spans 9,000 square miles in Southern Arizona. Kristen oversaw animal control and shelter services.

Kristen’s areas of expertise include building pet support services to reduce intake, strategic communications for executive leadership in animal management and welfare, and creating and implementing best practices and model programs. She taught students from all over the U.S. and around the world who visit PACC to learn about building model programs in a high intake government animal shelter.

In November 2020, Kristen became the Director for Human Animal Support Services, a new initiative transforming the role Government and non Government agencies play in animal management.

This webinar is only available to members and is free.
